Resolutions Are For Sissies!

I’ve decided I don’t like New Year’s resolutions.  There’s something passive-aggressive about the whole thing to me.  Making resolutions suggest (at least to me) that you are already 50/50 on your intentions to succeed.  I’m not a big odds player, but I don’t really like those odds much.  Nah, no resolutions for me.  I don’t like the thought that somewhere in the back of my mind, this little seed of doubt is already taking root that I’m not going to make it.

I’m taking a more realistic approach to the whole “It’s January, let’s wipe the slate clean and set out on a fresh journey” thinking.  To me, it’s about reframing your thought process and establishing some attainable and achievable goals that you can truly live with…forever.  Not just for a week, or a month.

So if you are with me, this month we’re going to set out and tackle a month of goals that we all could benefit from achieving.  Yes, all of us.  I promise you won’t have to weigh yourself, hit the gym or mix up a weird concoction of herbs and tinctums…unless you want to!

Happy 2013!
